Purpose and objectives of the scientific publication
The journal Biotechnologia Acta aims to disseminate contemporary achievements in biotechnology and ensure open access to research results. Its mission encompasses the advancement of interdisciplinary directions, adherence to international publication standards, and the promotion of both applied and fundamental studies across diverse fields of biotechnology. Biotechnologia Acta represents an open intellectual space for meaningful dialogue and exchange of ideas between Ukrainian and international scientists, fostering a shared vision of biotechnology development and integrating domestic researchers into the global scientific community.
Journal objectives:
1. To provide open access to research results in molecular biotechnology, nanobiotechnology, immunobiotechnology, environmental biotechnology, industrial enzymology and microbiology, biosensorics, diagnostics, and related fields for both the national and international scientific community.
2. To promote the development of interdisciplinary research in molecular biology, nanotechnology, immunobiotechnology, environmental biotechnology, and beyond.
3. To support innovative studies employing stem cells, gene therapy, bioengineering, and enzymology.
4. To address legal and ethical aspects of biotechnology, which are essential for shaping responsible scientific practice.
5. To uphold high standards of academic integrity and peer review, building trust in published materials and establishing an authoritative resource for scientists, educators, and practitioners.
